Playing with friends, finally
This update adds the main event: online co-op for up to three players. It changes the whole feel. Bouncing through runs with a couple of buddies turns frantic scraps into shared chaos, and that's where the game sings.
Someone who loves Dead Cells, but faster
Motion Twin made Dead Cells, so the pedigree is there. This isn't a methodical dungeon crawl. It's zip, flash, dodge, die, repeat. If you like mastering quick weapon swaps and split-second dodges, you'll settle right in.
Someone who wants a finished story
Right now it's about the loop, not the lore. You'll get razor-sharp combat and a great sense of speed, but the narrative isn't the point yet. If you need a world to sink into, give this one more time in the oven.
Behaves like an app, runs through Wineskin
Windblown sits comfortably alongside other Apple Silicon games, but it doesn't lean on macOS the way a native Metal title would. The Wineskin wrapper means it behaves like a regular app once it's in your Applications folder — Spotlight finds it, Launchpad shows it, and Mission Control treats it like any other window. If you use a controller, macOS picks it up in Game Controller settings before the game even asks.
It also plays nicely with Focus modes. A quick gaming Focus that silences notifications keeps co-op sessions from getting interrupted by email pings. And because the game is light on files, moving it to an external drive or backing it up with Time Machine is painless.
Unmount the disk image too early
Most trouble comes from skipping steps during setup, not from the game itself. The common ones I see:
- Ignoring the disk image after dragging the app. The Fix file is right there, but people unmount the image too early. Keep it mounted until you've launched the game once.
- Launching from the disk image instead of Applications. It can work for a session, but the wrapper gets confused about paths. Always drag first, then launch from Launchpad.
- Expecting keyboard-only play. You can do it, but a controller makes dodging feel less like typing. If your controller isn't responding, check System Settings before blaming the game.
- Forgetting the game is in development. Bugs will show up. Don't treat every crash as a broken download — the version number tells you this is still cooking.

Questions I actually get
Does this game support multiple players on one Mac?
No, it supports online co-op for up to three players, not local split-screen.
What languages are included?
You can switch between Russian, English, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and French in the game settings.
Is this a full release?
No, this is an early build. The current version is 0.8.0.12, so expect more features and polish down the line.

No notes on this one yet. They go up after I read them.
