Get in touch

I read every message myself, usually with a cup of coffee nearby. If you're writing about a specific program, do me a favor and mention the app name, the version listed on the page, and what version of macOS you're running — plus whether your Mac has Apple silicon or an Intel chip. Those four details save a lot of back-and-forth, and I can give you a real answer instead of a guessing game.

How quickly I answer

I'm at the desk most weekdays. Some messages get a reply in a few hours; others take a day or two, especially if I need to test something on my own machine first. I don't promise a fixed turnaround, but I do read everything and I don't let real problems sit for long.

Broken download links or wrong version numbers

Developers update their sites without warning, and sometimes a link goes dead or a version number falls out of date before I catch it. If you spot one, send the name of the program and the page URL to [email protected]. I keep older builds listed on purpose for people on older Macs, but current links should always work — and I want to know when they don't.

Questions that work better in the comments

If you're asking whether a program works on Sequoia, how it compares to something similar, or if a quirk you're seeing is normal, try the comment section under that program's page first. Other readers often jump in with their own experience, and the whole conversation stays attached to the right software for the next person who searches for it. Every comment gets moderated, so yours will show as "awaiting moderation" until I've had a look — that's just me keeping spam out of the garden.

Copyright concerns

I list programs and plugins that are legitimately available; I don't host files myself. If you hold a copyright and believe something on the site shouldn't be here, please use the information on the DMCA page rather than emailing me directly. It gets routed and handled properly that way.

For everything else, [email protected] is the right door. I built this site the same way I ran a kitchen — pay attention, keep it clean, and don't make people wait longer than necessary.
